We love all that is happening on our east coast this time of year! Spring brings with it a time of renewal and freshness. We are finally emerging from our semi-hibernation to enjoy being outside again. People are putting out fresh mulch in the yards. Hibiscus bushes are blooming in a myriad of colors. We are all sporting our shorts and flip-flops once again after a brief foray into jeans and close-toed shoes. We put our face to the sun and say, “This feels so good!” Welcome back, spring!

At Solar Solutions, we meet your window tinting needs by serving a variety of communities along our east coast from the Port St. Lucie/Vero Beach area up through Melbourne and the Space Coast beach towns. This time of year these communities offer lots of fun-filled activities, especially around Easter time. We thought it would be fun to share some of these activities with you so that you can take advantage of them and not miss out on the fun that is happening in your area!

Throughout the region, Michael’s (hobby/craft store) is offering a fun craft for kids for $2 on various dates, so drop in, do some shopping, and let your little one create a masterpiece! Most libraries also offer fun activities this time of the year. They often include such activities as an Easter egg hunt, face painting, and balloons. Look online or call your local library to see what they have to offer.

East Coast Christian Center is hosting a HUGE Easter egg hunt at the Viera High School football stadium. They will be using over 20,000 eggs! The event is for children ages two to twelve and includes a raffle for the adults. This is a free event.

The City of Vero Beach Recreation Department hosts an Easter egg hunt for children from infants to 9 years old at Mulligan’s Beach House. This event takes place at 10 am on March 24. Infants to 3 years will have their own egg hunt on the grass behind the Holiday Inn. Ages 3-9 get to hunt at the beach at Mulligan’s. This is a free event, although they request that you arrive at 9:30 and bring a donation of 6 empty plastic Easter eggs.

We want to wrap it up with two very unique egg hunts that you might want to check out. Palm Bay Aquatic Center is offering an Underwater Egg Hunt! It takes place March 24, from noon-2 pm. There will be games and activities, including swimming. At approximately 2 pm, they clear the pool to put in the eggs and begin the underwater egg hunt!

The second unique egg hunt is put on by Satellite Beach. It is a Flashlight Egg Hunt! Tickets must be purchased from Satellite Beach Recreation Department by 5 pm on March 29. The cost is $7, and the flashlight egg hunt takes place on March 31. Arrive by 8:45 pm at DeSoto field. This is offered to 1st through 6th-grade children. Bags will be provided, but bring your own flashlight.

We live in such a great area here on the east coast of Florida! We could go on for ages about all the great activities offered in our various communities.
